Gateshead to visit The Brewery Field in July showdown
Spennymoor Town have confirmed a home pre-season friendly against Gateshead, set for Tuesday, 22nd July at The Brewery Field with a 7:30pm kick-off.
The clash adds further intensity to the Moors’ summer build-up as Graeme Lee’s squad prepares for the new campaign.
This marks the first home fixture of their pre-season calendar.
Familiar Foes Return to County Durham
Gateshead, who narrowly missed out on the National League play-offs, will travel to County Durham with a point to prove.
They’re also undergoing a managerial transition, after former Moors boss Carl Magnay recently left for South Shields.
The Heed Army will be eager to impress, even without a permanent manager in place.
Fourth Fixture Confirmed
This fixture becomes the fourth confirmed pre-season outing for Moors.
Prior away matches against Crook Town, Bishop Auckland, and Hebburn Town had already been announced.
This home game offers supporters the first chance to see new tactics and squad rotations in action — a key moment for fans looking ahead to a competitive season.
