June brings a packed international schedule for Chelsea FC players, with stars from Stamford Bridge spread across Europe and South America chasing national honours.

From the UEFA Nations League finals in Germany to World Cup qualifiers across continents, Blues players are set to make headlines in crucial fixtures kicking off this week.

Nations League Showdown: Gusto, Neto, and Cucurella Go Head-to-Head

Three Chelsea teammates will find themselves on opposing sides as France, Portugal, and Spain compete for the UEFA Nations League title.

Gusto's previous senior cap came against the Netherlands in October 2023

Malo Gusto, who earned his last senior France cap against the Netherlands in 2023, has been recalled as Les Bleus prepare to face Spain in the semi-finals on Thursday, 5 June, at Stuttgart’s MHPArena (8pm BST).

Cucurella and Spain are bidding to become the first team ever to defend the Nations League title

Victory there could set up a final clash with Portugal, featuring Chelsea’s Pedro Neto, who enjoyed a breakout season with 45 club appearances.

Spain, meanwhile, are aiming to make history by becoming the first nation to defend the Nations League title.

Chalobah is hoping to make his international debut after helping us to victory in the Conference League final

Marc Cucurella is included in a confident Spanish squad that also holds last year’s European Championship crown.

The final and third-place match are scheduled for Sunday, 8 June, with venues split between Munich and Stuttgart.

England Call-Ups: Five Blues Aim for World Cup and Friendly Glory

Trevoh Chalobah has received his maiden senior England call-up, joining Reece James, Levi Colwill, Noni Madueke, and Cole Palmer.

The Three Lions face Andorra in a key World Cup qualifier on Saturday, 7 June, at Barcelona’s RCDE Stadium (5pm BST), followed by a friendly against Senegal on Wednesday, 10 June, at Nottingham’s City Ground (7.45pm BST).

Chalobah will be hoping to make his international debut after playing a vital role in Chelsea’s recent UEFA Conference League triumph.

South American Spotlight: Enzo Fernandez, Caicedo, and Paez Lead the Charge

Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez continues to anchor Argentina’s midfield as the reigning world champions wrap up qualifiers, having already secured their 2026 FIFA World Cup place with an eight-point lead.

Argentina face Chile in Santiago on Friday, 6 June (2am BST), followed by a home match against Colombia on Wednesday, 11 June (1am BST).

Meanwhile, Ecuador’s hopes rest on Moises Caicedo and rising talent Kendry Paez, as they meet Brazil on Friday, 9 June, and travel to face Peru on Wednesday, 11 June.

Youth Watch: Under-21 and Under-19 Tournaments Heat Up

Several young Blues will represent their countries in youth European Championships this summer.

Teddy Sharman-Lowe joins the England Under-21 training camp ahead of their tournament, while Lucas Bergstrom features in Finland’s Under-21 squad for Group D games against the Netherlands, Ukraine, and Denmark, beginning Thursday, 12 June.

In the Under-19s category, Kiano Dyer, Shumaira Mheuka, and Harrison Murray-Campbell will battle Norway, Germany, and the Netherlands in Group B matches from Saturday, 14 June.

Spain’s Marc Guiu is also in contention for the final squad heading to Romania, while Genesis Antwi represents Sweden Under-18s in home friendlies against Serbia and Hungary.

Friendlies and Final Preparations

While not all Chelsea players are in competitive action, many are still vital to their nations’ preparations.

Filip Jorgensen has been selected for Denmark’s friendlies against Northern Ireland (7 June) and Lithuania (10 June). Nicolas Jackson will feature for Senegal in friendlies against Ireland and England, offering continuity after Chelsea’s strong finish to the season.
