Trek with a United Icon for a Great Cause
Manchester United fans have the chance to take part in a once-in-a-lifetime adventure this August — climbing Mount Snowdon alongside Treble-winning legend David May, all in support of the Manchester United Foundation.
The overnight charity hike will take place on Saturday, 2 August, guiding participants up Wales’ highest peak under the stars, with the summit reached just in time to witness a breathtaking sunrise over Eryri National Park.
From Stars to Sunrise on Snowdon
The event promises not only stunning views and a challenging trek but also a chance to bond with fellow supporters and a Manchester United hero. It’s a unique way to support the Foundation’s vital work with young people across Greater Manchester and beyond.
Participants will begin the climb under the night sky, making their way to the 1,085-metre summit by dawn — creating unforgettable memories while helping a great cause.
How to Get Involved
To take part in this Snowdon sunrise challenge, registration costs £125, with a minimum sponsorship target of £350.
All funds raised will go toward community programmes run by the Manchester United Foundation, which focuses on education, inclusion, and opportunity for young people.
